With vast experience in both consumer and medical markets, Vanessa J. Evans is currently consulting on Building Global Customer Relationships, Improving and Designing Business Processes to drive growth and profitability, Leadership Sustainability and building Brand and Company Cross Functional Business Plans. She is also embracing her passion for “Women’s Leadership and Diversity” via speaking engagements and educational presentations at Leadership and Diversity conferences and seminars.
Previous tenure at Johnson &Johnson included Board level and multi-functional roles; global customer development, global sales management, business process innovation, customer service, consumer affairs and business cross functional planning with additional knowledge in marketing and supply chain. She was responsible for the development of a $1.7 billion channel of distribution, ten percent of Johnson & Johnson Consumer groups sales and delivered double digit Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) for a key global customer for Johnson and Johnson Consumer Group. As the Vice President, Development & Process Excellence, she was responsible for the development of the global new product process, global market research processes, redesign of the global packaging processes and Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
In addition to her functional responsibilities, she was one of the original members of Johnson & Johnson’s Corporate Women’s Leadership Steering Committee, which drove the initiatives responsible for driving the development of women leaders while fostering diversity education and understanding within Johnson and Johnson. Additional career experience includes Regional Vice president, Quality and Consumer Affairs, Vice President, Quality Improvement, Director of Marketing and Director, Field Sale. Vanessa earned her B.A. at Kent State University and her M.B.A. at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.
